SPARTA, Ky. – Rain washed away Sprint Cup practice for the second consecutive day at Kentucky Speedway.
After showers in the morning and a persistent mist, NASCAR canceled a session scheduled for 11 a.m.-12:55 p.m. Thursday.
The practice had been added after two two-hour practices Wednesday were scrubbed because of a damp track. Though the rain had stopped in mid-afternoon, track drying was hampered by persistent weepers (water seeping through the asphalt).
