Kyle Busch now 6-to-1 to win NASCAR Sprint Cup Title

Can Kyle Busch keep his run going through the playoffs?
This season looked like a lost one for Kyle Busch after he broke his leg and ankle in a February Xfinity Series race at Daytona. But Busch's Joe Gibbs Racing team has caught fire and it's reflected on oddsboards in Vegas.

Busch is now 6-1 to capture NASCAR's Sprint Cup championship, trailing only Kevin Harvick, who is listed at 4-1 by the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook in odds released earlier this week. Busch has won three of the last four Sprint Cup races and has an average finish of 14.9 in eight starts this season.

There's still some work to do. Because Busch missed 11 starts with his injury, he currently sits 33rd in the Chase standings and needs to finish in the top 30 to qualify for NASCAR's postseason. The way he's running, that shouldn't be a problem, though. Busch is 58 points behind 30th-place David Gilliland with seven races remaining before the Chase.
