From the Cockpit:
Matt Kenseth:
“I’m always working to try and improve my runs at Pocono because it’s always been one of my most challenging race tracks we go to on the schedule. I really have leaned on my teammates here at JGR (Joe Gibbs Racing) over the last few years since Denny (Hamlin) and Carl (Edwards) are past winners there. I still feel like I have a lot to learn about Pocono, but we had a really fast DG Camry for the June race and I felt that we ran better than our finish showed. In June, I thought that I could run with anybody out on the track during the race which is a really positive sign for me.”

From the Pit Box:
Jason Ratcliff:
“I thought that the June race earlier this year was the best that we’ve performed at Pocono. Pocono is a track where you need to have the best of everything: a good engine and aero package, a good brake package, and you need to study transmission ratios since we also shift there so it’s an all-around different race track. To run well there isn’t something that we’ve done a lot of there with Matt (Kenseth) in the past, but I’m looking forward to going back this weekend based on what we were able to do back in June there. I think that we really have a great baseline to start from this week.”
