Two-time winner, including 2014, and also two Xfinity wins; new aero package benefits him.
2. Joey Logano 17/2 4th 3rd 10th 5th 9th
Career-best fourth in 2013; 3 top-fives on 1.5-mile tracks in 2015. Penske Racing looks good.
3. Kevin Harvick 5/1 15th 15th 1st 2nd 7th
Led 433 laps on five 1.5-mile tracks in 2015; using runner-up chassis from Fontana and All-Star race.
4. Jimmie Johnson 11/2 6th 9th 41st 1st 10th
Career best third in 2011; one of four tracks he has yet to win at. Three wins on 1.5s in 2015.
5. Kyle Busch 10/1 9th 7th DNP DNP 2nd
Won inaugural race in 2011 is only driver to have 3 top-five finishes over the four events.
6. Martin Truex Jr. 12/1 5th 17th 2nd 9th 19th
Career-best seventh-place in 2013, likes the bumpy layout; ninth or better on all five 1.5s in 2015.
7. Dale Earnhardt Jr. 8/1 10th 8th 4th 3rd 5th
Career-best fourth; fourth or better on all five 1.5s in 2015. Loose car around turns to his liking.
8. Denny Hamlin 12/1 8th 4th 5th 41st 42nd
Career-best third in 2012. Not his best track, but the aero package changes should help him.
9. Matt Kenseth 10/1 17th 10th 9th 6th 4th
2013 winner, fourth in 2014, and tied with Busch for track-best 4.5 average finish over four starts
10. Kyle Larson 22/1 1st 1st 8th 15th 40th
With all the aero-changes and uncertainties, this could be a great spot for him to get first Cup win.
Note: Starting lineup will be set by order of finish from first practice session.
* Results from 2015 races at Las Vegas (Mar. 8) and Kansas (May 9), as well as last seasons race at Kentucky. Kansas probably runs the most similar to Kentucky among 1.5-mile tracks, but the past two Kentucky winners also won at Las Vegas in same season.
