This weeks race at Pocono may be perhaps the easiest to handicap from a stand point that all relevant data needed should be fresh from last weeks race at Indy. When looking at the first Pocono race in June and last weeks race, you'll see that nine of the top-15 finishers at Pocono finished within the top-15 at Indy -- and that doesn't even include Juan Pablo Montoya and Jimmie Johnson who had top-10 finishes at Pocono but faltered at Indy despite having two of the best cars.
Denny Hamlin is the favorite this week based on his four career Pocono win, including the race which he thoroughly dominated during the late stages. Tony Stewart should be a nice look this week based on finishing third in June and fifth last week. Stewart and Kevin Harvick are the only two drivers with top-five finishes in each.
