Juan Pablo Montoya Bringing Fast Phoenix Chassis to Richmond This Week

Montoya at Richmond:
Montoya has six previous starts at Richmond International Raceway (RIR) with a best finish of 10th in last year’s May event. His best start came in the 2008 spring race when the No. 42 car took the green flag in sixth place. Montoya has completed all 1200 laps in the last three events at RIR.

Bracketology: Montoya and the No. 42 Target team have survived the first two weeks of the DIRECTV NASCAR Head2Head Knockout competition. Montoya was up against four-time champion Jimmie Johnson last weekend during the Aaron’s 499 and came out on top with his third-place finish. The No. 42 will be paired with Talladega winner Kevin Harvick this weekend at RIR, the final event before the "Fastest Four."
Talladega Recap:
Juan Pablo Montoya and the TUMS team survived all 499 miles and three green-white-checkered restarts at Talladega Superspeedway to bring home the team’s second third-place finish of the season. This marks the fourth top-10 and third top-five finish for the No. 42 team.
