Edwards has won twice at Las Vegas and is tied with Johnson for a track-best 9.2 average finish. Johnson holds the track record with four wins.
The teams will return to the track later this evening at 7:45 pm (ET) for qualifying to determine the starting lineup for Sunday’s race. Larson was posted at 25/1 odds to win the pole at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook.
On Saturday, the qualified teams will have two more practice sessions beginning with a session from 11:30 am – 12:25 pm (ET) and then final practice from 2:30 pm – 3:25 pm.
