Scott Dixon moves to Indy 500 favorite at Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook

The Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook has updated its odds for Sunday's Indy 500, installing Scott Dixon as the favorite to win the 99th running of the race.

Dixon's odds were shortened from 6-to-1 to 9-to-2 by the SuperBook after he won the pole in Sunday qualifying, putting him in position to win his second Indy 500. He took the checkers at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 2008.

Helio Castroneves, the co-favorite before qualifying, had his odds lengthened slightly, from 5-to-1 to 6-to-1 after qualifying fifth. Castroneves' Penske Racing teammate, Simon Pagenaud, was shortened from 10-1 to 9-to-2 – co-favorite status – after posting the fastest time in Friday's practice round.

Per usual, Penske drivers dominate the top of the oddsboard, with Will Power and Juan Pablo Montoya also listed with odds in the single digits.

Chip Ganassi Racing also has a big presence, with Dixon, Tony Kanaan (6-1) and Sage Karam (50-1).
