Throw out everything from Daytona, Atlanta is a different animal

Brad Keselowski won last season at Atlanta.
As a Vegas bookmaker, Micah Roberts was the first to offer expanded NASCAR betting. Now he hands out NASCAR winners to his followers.

In the 2017 NASCAR playoffs, Roberts picked nine of the 10 winners. In 2016, Roberts told readers to back Denny Hamlin at 15/1 in the Daytona 500. The result? Hamlin edged Martin Truex Jr. for the checkered flag. This is the same Roberts who nailed Hamlin at 40/1 to win at Watkins Glen later that year.

With the QuikTrip 500 set for Sunday at 2:45 p.m. ET at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Roberts has analyzed the entire field and released his Top 20 finishers in order. We can tell you he's not high on Austin Dillon coming off his Daytona win, noting Dillon has averaged 25th place at Atlanta. But Roberts has a 60/1 long shot finishing in the Top 10 and a 20/1 driver who can take the checkered flag... Join SportsLine now to see the full projected QuikTrip 500 leaderboard, and see which long shots stun the racing world, all from the nation's premier NASCAR betting expert!

Here is Roberts' writeup:

The cars at Daytona drove almost as expected with them all being equal and having a chance to win, but that was a restrictor-plate race and there are only four of those each season. Throw what you saw during Speedweeks out the window and leave it there until May for Talladega.

The meat of the NASCAR Cup Series schedule is the 1.5-mile tracks and the first of 11 on those types takes place Sunday at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Here's how I see things going in the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500:
