·        Larson is the only driver in series history to accomplish the feat during the first four races of a given season.
·        Herb Thomas, in 1952, was the first Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series driver to finish runner-up in three consecutive races.
·        Prior to Larson’s finishes this season, Carl Edwards (2011 playoffs) was the most recent driver to finish runner-up in three consecutive races.
·        Richard Petty leads the series in occurrences of three or more consecutive runner-up finishes in a Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series career with four; David Pearson accomplished the feat the second-most times with three.
