From the Cockpit:
Carl Edwards:
“We’re headed to Martinsville with the ARRIS Toyota. The JGR cars as a group ran really well at California, so that was a good day for us as a team. Now we go to a race track that’s not been a great race track for me. This is the one that’s been on my calendar for a long time. I’ve been very excited to go to Martinsville in a JGR Camry and to be able to lean on my teammates, specifically Denny (Hamlin). He’s helped me. I’m going to hold him responsible for whatever happens here. We’re really just going to have a good time and to learn and to have a solid run. I made it hard on us last week with putting us in a backup car. I was really proud of how my team rallied and never quit. And this week we just want to make the most of what we can with make no mistakes. That’s our mission.”

From the Pit Box:
Darian Grubb:
“I’m really looking forward to getting to Martinsville. It’s one of my favorite tracks to go to after the last couple years there with Denny Hamlin. Being my hometown track about forty miles away to my hometown, I’ve spent a lot of time there eating a lot of hotdogs. I want to go up there and have a really good run with Carl and get our short track program started off right. I’m really looking forward to it. I can’t wait to get up there and see all the friends and family.”
