Logano wins at Texas, seventh different driver to win in seven 2014 races

Joey Logano celebrates after his win ta Texas Monday
Joey Logano was practically speechless when a caution flag flew as he led the field to the white flag Monday at Texas Motor Speedway.

Asked what he was thinking, Logano said, "A lot of things I can’t say on TV."

Logano, who had been dominating the race, lost the lead on pit road when the leaders pitted just before a green-white-checkered restart. He blew past Jeff Gordon with just one lap remaining, however, to win the Duck Commander 500 and become the seventh different winner in seven races this year, the first time that has happened since 2003.

Logano, 23, held about a 1-second lead over teammate Brad Keselowski when Kurt Busch hit the wall with just over a lap remaining to bring out a caution flag. Gordon and Brian Vickers took just two tires when the leaders pitted to beat Logano and Keselowski off pit road.

"Talk about a lot of emotion," Logano said. "You feel like you are about to win the race and then the caution comes out when you come to take the white and you’re like, ‘You’ve got to be kidding me."
