STANLEY Racing to Donate $1 Million to Children’s Miracle Network Through Ace Hardware Foundation if Ambrose Wins

Ambrose is 300/1 to win at LVH Super Book
This Saturday night, Marcos Ambrose and the No.9 STANLEY Racing have a million reasons to win. If Ambrose earns his third NASCAR Sprint Cup Series victory, Richard Petty Motorsports (RPM) partner STANLEY will donate $1 million to the Children’s Miracle Network through the Ace Hardware Foundation to benefit sick and injured children. If Ambrose finishes second or third, a donation of $500,000 and $250,000 will be made respectively. The incentive is part of the annual “Racing for a Miracle” campaign by STANLEY and the Ace Hardware Foundation. Ambrose has a best finish of fifth at the track.

Ambrose and the team will head to Richmond early on Thursday to visit the patients at the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU. Ambrose and his No.9 RPM pit crew will interact with the children through various games and demonstrate pit stops.

The No.9 will also have a different look to it this weekend. The car will be unveiled this Friday morning at Richmond International Raceway during a special presentation at 8:00 a.m. at the amphitheater.

Ambrose Weekend Chatter:
“This is always a big weekend for STANLEY, Ace Hardware and the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. And, it’s always a big weekend for RPM and our No 9 team. We haven’t won the million dollars in the different years that we’ve participated in the program, but we want nothing more than to do so. If we can’t win, finishing second or third will still be a big donation and go a long way to help these children. Either way, STANLEY will make a donation to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals this Friday morning at the track.

“It’s just a special cause for everyone, and we feel pretty honored to be in a position to race for this donation. We’re going to visit some of the patients this Thursday morning in Richmond before the race weekend starts. We’re just looking to put a smile on their face and show them something different. Hopefully, they get excited, but hopefully, we’re all a lot more excited at the end of the race Saturday night.”
