Cheez-It 355 at the Glen Chassis Selections

Keselowski is using new chassis this week at Watkins Glen
#2-Brad Keselowski: Primary Chassis: PRS-834. Last Raced - Sonoma backup (not raced). Backup Chassis: PRS-847. Last Raced: Backup at several races (not raced)

#5-Kasey Kahne: For this weekend at Watkins Glen, crew chief Kenny Francis will unload Hendrick Motorsports Chassis No. 5-802. Kahne drove this car to a sixth-place finish at Sonoma in June.

#9-Marcos Ambrose: The No. 9 team prepared chassis No. 761 for Sunday's race. The Stanley team started second and finished seventh with this chassis at Sonoma Raceway earlier this season.

#10-Danica Patrick: Chassis No. 10-759: Chassis No. 10-759 was first used by Patrick in June at Sonoma (Calif.) Raceway, where she started 31st and finished 29th.

#14-Max Papis: Chassis No. 14-731: This car debuted in impressive fashion last June at Sonoma (Calif.) Raceway as Tony Stewart took Chassis No. 14-731 from its 24th-place starting spot and rallied it to a strong second-place finish. Its second and final start of 2012 came at Watkins Glen (N.Y.) International in August. It qualified ninth and Stewart wheeled it up to second, but on lap 71, he spun off the final corner of the 2.45-mile, 11-turn road course and backed into the Armco barrier lining the inside of pit road, sustaining heavy damage. Several trips to the pits allowed the crew the opportunity to repair the car enough to finish the race, and that's just what Stewart did, rallying from 29th on lap 74 to finish 19th when the checkered flag dropped after lap 90. With 2013 Chevrolet SS bodywork covering it, Chassis No. 14-731 was tested May 28 at Road Atlanta in Braselton, Ga., with road-racing standout Ron Fellows. The car returned to the site of its debut when it raced at Sonoma in June. It qualified a respectable 11th and was en route to a top-10 finish before an accident with Jeff Burton in treacherous turn 11 dropped Stewart from ninth to 28th when the checkered flag waved. In preparation for the year's second and final road-course race at Watkins Glen, Max Papis tested Chassis No. 14-731 July 30 at Road Atlanta. Now, as Stewart recuperates from a leg injury sustained in a Sprint Car crash Monday night, Papis is back behind the wheel of Chassis No. 14-731 for this weekend's race at Watkins Glen.

#16-Greg Biffle: Chassis RK-764 last hit the track at Sonoma earning an eighth-place finish and is the same car that crossed the finish line sixth a year ago at The Glen.

#17-Ricky Stenhouse Jr.: Primary Chassis: RK- 816 - last raced at Sonoma finished 27th. Backup Chassis: RK- 758 back-up chassis for road course races in 2012.

22-Joey Logano: Primary Chassis: PRS-836. Last Raced - Sonoma backup (not raced). Backup Chassis: PRS-844. Last Raced: Backup at several races (not raced)

#27-Paul Menard: will pilot chassis No. 361 at Watkins Glen International. This No. 27 Chevrolet SS was previously raced by Menard at Watkins Glen International in 2011 and 2012, finishing 32nd and 12th, respectively.

#29-Kevin Harvick: will pilot chassis No. 395 from the Richard Childress Racing NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stable in the Watkins Glen 355. This Chevrolet was most recently utilized by the No. 29 team at Sonoma Raceway in June, where Harvick brought home a 10th-place finish.

#31-Jeff Burton: will race chassis No. 357 from the Richard Childress Racing NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stable this weekend at Watkins Glen International. This No. 31 Chevrolet, built during the 2011 season specifically for road-course racing, was driven by Burton last season at Sonoma Raceway and WGI where he piloted the machine to 11th and 30th-place finishes, respectively. Most recently, Burton finished 31st at Sonoma in June after being involved in a late-race accident while running in the top 10.

#39-Ryan Newman: Chassis No. 39-545: This chassis first saw action for the No. 39 team at both road-course races in 2009. At Sonoma (Calif.) Raceway that season, Newman qualified seventh and was marching toward a top-10 finish before getting spun in the latter stages of the event. He finished 17th. At Watkins Glen (N.Y.) International, Newman qualified sixth. However, Newman's No. 39 Chevrolet was plagued with alternator issues, which caused the car to run at only about 75 percent throughout most of the race, leading to a 21st-place finish. The car also ran both road-course events in 2010. At Sonoma, it qualified 13th and finished 16th after picking up 10 positions in the final 15 laps of the event. At Watkins Glen, the team used pit strategy during the race to earn a 12th-place finish. The No. 39 team tested June 13 at Virginia International Raceway in Alton in preparation for the June 23 race at Sonoma, where Newman battled through adversity to earn a hardfought 15th-place finish in Chassis No. 39-545's most recent track activity.

#43-Aric Almirola:: The No. 43 team will bring chassis No. 760, the same chassis the team raced with at Sonoma earlier this year.

#48-Jimmie Johnson: will drive chassis No. 801 at Watkins Glen. Chassis No. 543 serves as the backup.

#88-Dale Earnhardt Jr.: This weekend, crew chief Steve Letarte and the No. 88 team will unload Hendrick Motorsports Chassis No. 88-747. Earnhardt first raced this chassis at Watkins Glen in 2012. Most recently, he drove this car to record a 12th-place finish at Sonoma Raceway in June.

#99-Carl Edwards: Primary: RK - 853 last ran at Sonoma. Backup: RK - 771 backup for Sonoma
