From the Cockpit:
Carl Edwards:
“Alright, we’re headed to Watkins Glen. We might even get a chance to run in the rain a little bit Saturday which would be fun. We’re going to have STANLEY on the car again. We’ve been fast with the STANLEY Toyota the last few weeks. Joe Gibbs Racing is on an amazing roll right now coming off of Matt Kenseth’s win. We’ve all been fast and we’ve been having a good time. Everybody has been working very hard and working very well together. I love going to Watkins Glen. We have a lot of fans up there. It’s fun to get up there and see some folks that we really only get the opportunity to see once a year. It’s a great race track. Road racing has become one of my favorite parts of our sport. So I really look forward to the road races. We’ve had some success at Watkins Glen. We’ve run really well. I qualified first and got the pole one time which was really cool. We go there with really nothing to lose in our current Chase situation, with an opportunity to have a bunch of fun. I can’t wait.”
