Kyle Larson looking to win fifth straight on 2-mile tracks

Kyle Larson has won four straight on 2-mile tracks.
As a Vegas bookmaker, Micah Roberts was the first to offer expanded NASCAR betting. Now he hands out NASCAR winners to his followers.

Three weeks ago at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Roberts told SportsLine readers to jump on Kevin Harvick, who had the same 9/2 odds as Martin Truex Jr. and Kyle Larson. Harvick dominated, leading for 181 of 325 laps and cruising to victory by 2.69 seconds. Roberts again was all over Harvick two weeks ago at Las Vegas as Harvick delivered another lopsided win.

Roberts had Harvick in his Top 5 last week when Harvick stunningly won his third straight race.

Roberts' uncanny picks come as no surprise. In the 2017 NASCAR playoffs, Roberts picked nine of the 10 winners. In 2016, Roberts told readers to back Denny Hamlin at 15/1 in the Daytona 500. The result? Hamlin edged Martin Truex Jr. for the checkered flag. This is the same Roberts who nailed Hamlin at 40/1 to win at Watkins Glen later that year.

With the Auto Club 400 set for Sunday at 3:30 p.m. ET at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Calif., Roberts has analyzed the entire field and released his Top 20 finishers in order. We can tell you he's not high on Jamie McMurray, who despite last year's sixth-place finish has averaged 16th place at this race. Roberts, however, loves a 40/1 underdog who has the horsepower needed to win Sunday... Join SportsLine now to see Micah Roberts' Auto Club 400 leaderboard, and see which long shot stuns the racing world, all from the nation's premier NASCAR betting expert!

Here is Roberts' writeup:

Kevin Harvick will attempt to join an elite fraternity Sunday afternoon at Auto Club Speedway by winning his fourth consecutive NASCAR Cup race, and he'll try it on his home track in Fontana, CA. It's the conclusion of a three-race west coast swing and fifth race overall. The scoreboard reads: Harvick 3, All Others 1.
