Michigan 'probably' one of Austin Dillon's better tracks

Austin Dillon is 40/1 to win at Michigan.
This Week’s Dow Salutes Veterans Chevrolet SS at Michigan International Speedway … Austin Dillon will pilot chassis No. 552 in the Firekeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway. This is a new Chevrolet SS that will be utilized for the first time this weekend.

Dillon at Michigan International Speedway
… In his junior season on the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series tour, Michigan International Speedway ranks as one of Dillon’s most seasoned tracks with seven starts at the two-mile track. He finished fourth in August 2015 to earn his best finish at the track in his most recent start. He also earned his best starting position, also fourth, in the race.

#Speed3Glory … This weekend at Michigan International Speedway the No. 3 team will honor those from The Dow Chemical Company who have served in the U.S. military with 350 Dow employee names on the patriotic-themed No.3 Dow Salutes Veterans Chevrolet. Every day, Dow is committed to building a vibrant, diverse and talented employee base. Veteran employees bring skills and virtues beyond their military job titles. The different perspectives of Dow employees including those of our veterans reflect the rich depth of experience and backgrounds that make Dow a world leader in science and technology.

We look forward to seeing this special car take on Michigan on Sunday that acknowledges the military service of Dow employees.

The Century Mark … The Firekeepers Casino 400 on Sunday will mark Dillon’s 100th career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series start.

AUSTIN DILLON QUOTES:

Michigan International Speedway was repaved five years ago. Are we seeing the groove expand at all?

“I think it is. I think you’re going to see an exciting race. With the new rules package it should be interesting to see how the cars handle around each other. We got to do the Goodyear Tire Test there so I’m looking forward to Michigan. It’s probably one of my better tracks. I really enjoy the big speedways.”
