But it's obvious it still sits in his craw that he wasn't a factor the year after he won the title.
So to get his second win of 2014 and, barring a complete disaster, know he'll be in the Chase gives Keselowski satisfaction.

And the fact that both those wins came on 1.5-mile tracks — in March at Las Vegas and then Saturday night at Kentucky Speedway — gives him hope.
Five of the 10 Chase races will be conducted on 1.5-mile tracks.
"The things it takes to go fast here aren't too far off from those other tracks," Keselowski said after the victory at Kentucky. "I think when you hit this mark in the season, some cars might show a little bit more development but not a lot.
"I think you pretty much get to where everyone has almost what they're going to have to finish off the year around this time. And when you can run well at this point in time in the year, it bodes well for the final half of the season."
