From the Cockpit:
Carl Edwards:
”We are headed to Michigan. I love going there and we’ve had a lot of success there. It’s a very fast racetrack. We have ARRIS on board again. Last week we had a very fast ARRIS Camry, qualified well, led some laps, and hopefully we continue that at Michigan and get a better finish. The track is very special to me because it is the site of my very first Sprint Cup Series start. It’s a day that changed my life and definitely changed my level of appreciation for all the drivers and the Sprint Cup Series. It was awesome and an eye opening experience and every time I go back there I think of that day and what a huge opportunity that Jack Roush gave me by putting me in a Cup car. This will be my first trip to Michigan in a Toyota and I know how much everyone puts into that race. A win there in a Camry would mean a lot and I know we would be beating those guys at their very best. There is a lot of pride in a win in Michigan and hopefully we can do that. As a group we have be running well and I believe this will be another good test for our program for the larger tracks.”
