Christopher Bell is +450 to win Phoenix Finale (All cars are equal horsepower unlike recent years)

Christopher Bell / No. 20 Rheem-DEWALT Toyota Camry TRD Preview

NASCAR Cup Series Championship at Phoenix Raceway

No. 20 Rheem-DEWALT Toyota Camry TRD News and Notes:

  • BELL AT PHOENIX RACEWAY: Christopher Bell will make his eighth NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) start at Phoenix Raceway this weekend. Bell was part of the Championship 4 in the 2022 season finale at Phoenix. Bell finished 10th, rebounding from an incident on pit road late in the race.
  • CHAMPIONSHIP CONTENDER: While this will be Bell’s second appearance in the NASCAR Cup Series Championship 4, he is no stranger to being a part of the title picture at NASCAR’s highest levels. In eight seasons competing full-time in NASCAR’s three national series, Bell has advanced to the championship race six times. He made his first Championship 4 appearance in the CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) in 2016 and followed that up by winning the NCTS Championship in 2017. Bell qualified for back-to-back Championship 4 races while competing in the Xfinity Series in 2018 and 2019 before advancing to his first NCS Final 4 last year.
  • FREQUENT FINALIST: This marks crew chief Adam Stevens’ seventh Championship 4 appearance since the format debuted in 2014. Before leading Bell and the No. 20 team to the finals the past two seasons, Stevens oversaw Kyle Busch’s No. 18 team for five consecutive Championship 4 appearances, including winning performances in 2015 and 2019.
  • RHEEM GUESTS AT PHOENIX: Rheem is hosting over 105 guests this weekend at Phoenix. There are Rheem Executives Chris Peel (President and CEO), Greg Henry (Vice President & CFO), and Rich Bendure (President of Water Division). In addition, there are guests on-site from RSD Supply, Heating and Cooling Company, Baker Distributing, the Tankless Water Heater Division, Raypak, and Hajoca.

  • RACE INFO: The NASCAR Cup Series Championship at Phoenix Raceway begins at 3:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, November 5, 2023. The race will be broadcast live on NBC, Sirius XM 90, and MRN Radio.

I can’t wait to get out there and enjoy the moment and try and make it happen. I feel like Phoenix is one of my best tracks on the schedule, it’s a place I know we can go out and win.”

Christopher Bell / No. 20 Rheem / WATTS Toyota Camry TRD Preview

  • BELL NCS AT HOMESTEAD: Christopher Bell will make his fourth NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) start at Homestead-Miami Speedway (HMS) this weekend in the No. 20 Rheem/WATTS Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR). Last year at HMS, Bell qualified second and finished 11th.
  • HOMESTEAD EXPERIENCE: Bell has made three prior starts at the 1.5-mile track in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS), earning a fifth-place finish in 2019 and 11th in 2018. Bell has three previous Truck Series starts at Homestead, earning one top-five and two top-10 finishes. In 2017 Bell secured his Truck Series title run with a second-place finish at Homestead.
  • RHEEM GUESTS AT HOMESTEAD: Rheem is hosting over 180 guests this weekend at Homestead. There are guests on-site from Watts Regulator Company, Capitol Container, Friedrich, Water Heater Division (Southeast Region, Robertson Supply and Hybrid Heroes Contest Winners), Gemaire, and the Commercial Air Conditioning Division.
  • FEATURED ON THE CAR: Watts, a part of Watts Water Technologies and a major Rheem supplier, will be featured on Bell’s No. 20 Toyota Camry TRD this weekend at Homestead. Watts is a global leader of innovative water solutions for residential, industrial, municipal and commercial applications.
  • VEGAS RECAP: Bell qualified on the pole at Vegas and led the field to green. He needed a little more grip and finish stage one second. The car continued to have good balance throughout the race and as the laps wound down Bell made a hard charge at the leader, he came up just short in the end, finishing second at Vegas.
  • JGR AT HOMESTEAD: Joe Gibbs Racing has earned eight NCS victories at Homestead. In 75 combined starts, the organization has tallied 20 top-five finishes, 41 top-10s and 1,740 laps led.
  • RACE INFO: The 4EVER 400 Presented by Mobil 1 at HMS begins at 2:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, October 22, 2023. The race will be broadcast live on NBC, Sirius XM 90, and MRN Radio.

From the Cockpit:

Christopher Bell: Homestead is always slick, for me I’ve had success running the bottom early in runs but it seems like later in the run you have to move up and manage your risk, whether that’s the top seam or the wall, you have to be opened minding and willing to go wherever to find the lap time and get air on your car. The wall is going to be a popular place for sure. We had a good run in Vegas and I’m ready to get to Homestead and see what we can do.”

Christopher Bell is 18/1 to win at the Charlotte Roval

Christopher Bell / No. 20 DEWALT Plumbing Solutions Toyota Camry TRD Preview

Bank of America ROVAL 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway Road Course

No. 20 DEWALT Plumbing Solutions Toyota Camry TRD News and Notes:

  • BELL AT THE ROVAL: Christopher Bell will make his fourth NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) start on the ROVAL at Charlotte Motor Speedway this weekend. Bell heads into the weekend as the defending winner following his walk-off victory in 2022. Bell qualified eighth in the race and ran inside the top 10, he was able to capitalize on a strategy call for fresh tires late in the race, taking over the lead for the final laps of the race.
  • ROVAL NXS: Bell has two prior NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) starts at the ROVAL. In 2019, Bell led 19 total laps and was running second late in the race when he was issued a penalty for running off course in the chicane while battling for position. After taking the final restart from the back of the field, Bell raced his way forward to finish 12th. In 2018, Bell qualified 13th, ran in the top five most of the race, won stage two, led five laps and crossed the finish line fifth.
  • PLAYOFFS SO FAR: Bell heads into the Charlotte ROVAL ranked fourth in the Round of 12 Playoff point standings. Bell kicked off the 2023 Playoffs by claiming the pole position in the first three races and so far in the Round of 12 earned fourth-place finish at Texas and a 14th-place finish at Talladega.
  • DEWALT PLUMBING SOLUTIONS: The No. 20 has a new look this weekend featuring DEWALT PLUMBING SOLUTIONS. • TALLADEGA RECAP: Bell entered Talladega with the goal to be there at the end and even though he got caught up in an accident at the very end he was able to finish 14th. Bell qualified 15th and was running towards the front of the field at the end of the final stage before suffering some nose damage when a car ahead ran out of fuel. Luckily the damage was minor and the team was able to make repairs. During the final stage he once again dodged a big incident on track but bumped the right front again. The team checked everything over and returned the No. 20 to the track. Bell went in to earn a 14th-place finish at Talladega.
  • JGR at ROVAL: Bell earned the first win for JGR on the ROVAL last year. In 20 combined starts JGR has earned one win, five top-five and eight top-10 finishes at the Charlotte ROVAL.
  • RACE INFO: The Bank of America ROVAL 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway Road Course begins at 2:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, October 8, 2023. The race will be broadcast live on NBC, SiriusXM 90, and PRN Radio.

From the Cockpit:

Christopher Bell: “I definitely appreciate the circumstances we are under this time compared to last going into the ROVAL. Last year was a very stressful day, we performed well and kind of hung around the back half of the top 10 and then the yellow came out and gave us an opportunity at it. We were fortunate for it to work out last year but I’m very thankful we are sitting here with a points buffer. We can go into the race with a different mentality this year.”
