From the Cockpit:
Matt Kenseth:
“Texas used to be one of my best tracks, but the last few races just didn’t pan out how we had hoped in one way or another. There have been times we’ve qualified well, led a few laps, or been in the top five near the end, but we just haven’t been able to put the entire picture together yet although I’m confident we will. Texas is definitely one of my favorite tracks on the schedule, and statistically one of my better tracks overall, so I’m looking forward to heading there this weekend and hopefully making something happen for our Dollar General team.”

From the Pit Box:
Jason Ratcliff:
“I think that overall, we’ve made a lot of gains over the winter and started the season a little stronger than we did in 2014. We’ve had some great runs so far this year, but some of them just haven’t turned into the finishes we deserved. I think that overall though, our intermediate program at JGR (Joe Gibbs Racing) has improved this year over 2014’s. We had a great run at Martinsville, and were able to enjoy the weekend off, but our No. 20 team is ready to get back into action this weekend at Texas and a place that Matt (Kenseth) has had a lot of success at.”
